They kept pointing out colours and placing stones in each other’s hands
From the moment the two women met they walked for hours through the forest they called ‘the caramel woods’, they stirred through creamy red fresh tomato sauce with Bluegreen crispy rosemary while trying to explain to each other: Why. Why one of them has allowed herself for years to be completely surrounded, overwhelmed even moved by colour? And why the other has taken every stone of interest in her hand to weigh, feel, turn and look at? They kept pointing out colours and placing stones in each other’s hands. Do you see? Do you feel this?
The desire to work together was vividly obvious, finding out more about their passion and the connection between them.

They made a first publication together. And to their great surprise, the beauty of a stone coincided with the beauty of colours. And now, when they go through the publication, they whisper questioningly: does the stone show the colours, or do the colours show the stone?
The stone pictured has been collected by Uta in the mountain area around Domodossola.
